For the German group CONTINENTAL with our client FSA, we have supplied 9 assembly lines for SCR modules in Europe.
Nearly 60 welding machines -hot plate, infrared and ultrasonic welding– were installed over 4 years.
The SCR (selective catalytic reduction) module allows a drastic reduction of NOx gases (nitrogen oxide gases) on vehicles.
SERVISOUD worked beyons IRT Jules Vernes to develop an autonomous welding cobot. The purpose of it, is to weld prefabricated block for shipbuilding.
This new auto-adaptative cobot clearly identifies the seal to weld and definie the parameters for the welding. In this way, the productivity is increased of 50%, the weld quality is better, the reach-area cost are deleted, there is an improvement of working conditions and the risk og work accident is reduced.
Actually, the cobot is being industrialized to be commercialized to all sectors recquiring the welding of hard-to-reach areas by the operators.
American Bridge has chosen the nomad previously called the UNP STRESSVOYAGER® to repair the welded structures of the George Washington Bridge in New York. This bridge is known as having the most heavily trafficked in the world.
The existing welds are treated using an ultrasonic driven device which imparts a residual compressisve stress in the treated areas to impove fatigue life and prevent cracking of the welds. The impact treatment has been applied on over 11,000 welds.
The bridge life cycle has been considerably increased and the most heavy maintenance operations have been re-scheduled for later. This success gives us a prestigious reference to address and convince the other owners of welded steel structures in North America and other countries.
Our GOBIO brand, in partnership with the company BRIDOR, Le Duff group, has equipped the employees of the Sevron-sur-Vilaine plant with exoskeletons.
In this factory millions of pastries and breads are produce every day. Exoskeletons were introduced as part of a policy for prevention of musculoskeletal risks in the medium and long term and also to promote continued employment.
Our solutions IP12 model Skelex and IP14 model Noonee have been chosen for their lightness and ease of adaptation and use. They are tried and tested by employees.
For one year now, TECHNOMATIC has trusted SONIMAT for the supply of ultrasonic components for the welding stations of their FPP2/FFP3 mask production machines.
TECHNOMATIC chose SONIMAT for its expertise in the design of high performance components, its experience in nonwoven welding applications, the quality of its services and its products.
Arnaud COSTE, TECHNOMATIC’s manager, particularly appreciates the simplicity of the SONIMAT systems’ set-up, their pre-assembly, resonance and testing of all the components, which guarantees their correct operation (no parasitic whistling) as soon as they are installed. EUROPE TECHNOLOGIES has been solicited by the park of Les Épesses in Vendée, as a partner / supplier for the realization of the machinery of the new show planned for the 2020 season, the “Noces de feu”.
We carried out the design, manufacture and installation of the machinery while respecting the constraints imposed by the project: a short deadline and a high level of aesthetics.
The PUY DU FOU and EUROPE TECHNOLOGIES teams have taken up this challenge with brilliance. A success that led us to a new adventure on the Toledo Park.
On the occasion of two boat races : Transat Jacques Vabre 2019 and Vendée Globe 2020, Samantha Davies equipped her monohull boat IMOCA Initiatives-Coeur with sailing foils.
The sailing foils ensure to the boat stability and increase its speed. Their manufacturing require a high precision during machining due to high demanding geometrical tolerance treshold.
With more than 25 years of experience in high precision machining and after several programming hours, ORATECH machined the sailing foils on a 5 axis CNC machine while ensuring the quality of the inside composite material.
Our brand ORATECH took part to the development of the female urinal of Madame Pee. It is about a cabin/urinal for women offering a service as quick as for men.
Our mission was to industrialize the female urinal from a model designed by our customer and depending on a requested price to provide an efficient product to competitive price.
The female cabins of Madame Pee were present at many big events such as : Helfest, Solidays, We Love Green, Viva technology and the race Urgent Run.
Our brand GEBE2 has developed in partnership with SAFRAN NACELLES three micro-drilling robotized cells under the name of DREAM (Drilling Enhanced Acoustic Machine), project nominated at the Safran Nacelles Innovation Awards, which received the first prize.
The purpose of these cells is to drill composite panels in order to optimize the acoustic of airplane engine.
The manufacturing of those panels is a real challenge because production rates are very high. To answer this growing demand, GEBE2 industrialized this process. Today GEBE2 provides micro -drill robotized cell with multi-spindle heads more flexible and cost effective than conventional machines.
During the SIDEFFECT* project, EUROPE TECHNOLOGIES has collaborated with IRT Jules Vernes to develop a robotized cell for a dynamic induction welding process. This automated assembly process does not require any drilling or fastening which will allow, in the case of a potential industrialization, to optimize the production rates and to reduce the assembly costs of composite fuselages.
The brands of the Europe Technologies group (GEBE2, ORATECH and SONIMAT) intervened on the following phases:
– Automation and programming of the cell
– Design and manufacture of the assembly tooling
– Realization of the welding effector
The SIDEFFECT project has allowed us to increase our knowledge of the induction welding process, to understand its phenomena and to demonstrate the proper functioning of the process.
This research project will eventually allow us to offer our customers welding solutions that are increasingly adapted to their needs.
